Get Out There Together--More Adventure in Oregon State Parks

Welcome, Oregon Outdoor School graduates! We heard you had a great experience at outdoor school, and now we want to invite you to keep exploring the outdoors. Did you know that Oregon is home to 255 state parks? Your parks have places to paddle, hike, bike, fish, swim and build sandcastles. You can learn to kayak with a park ranger, search the night skies at one of our star parties, or take a tour of one of the many historic places that tell Oregon’s story. Our event calendar lists tons of activities, special events and guided experiences that are free or low cost.

With your three day-use parking permits, you can visit any of the 25 state parks that charge a $5 parking fee. (And, of course, you can visit the other 230 parks any time and park for free!) All we ask is that you get out there together and explore YOUR Oregon state parks. Visit our Pick A Park page for a list of the 25 parks and activities.

Our Tours and Events page also lists guided activities such as kayak tours and bat chats. If you're interested in camping but don't have the gear or need a bit of help, look for the Let's Go Camping events for first-time campers. Interested? You can find more information at Let's Go Camping.
