Oregon State Parks is pleased to offer a summer series of guided weekend outings for beginning campers of all ages. With hands-on lessons, nature hikes and fun family activities, Let’s Go Camping makes camping easy. These events take place all across Oregon and may be coming to a park near you.

Dates, locations and rates are subject to change. Let's Go Camping events are held rain or shine. Additional trips may be scheduled based on demand; this page will be updated throughout the summer.

Note: While dogs are welcome at most Oregon state parks, pets are not allowed at Let's Go Camping events.
Register online via the Oregon State Parks events page. Please be aware that you may only make reservations for one event.
Registration Fee: $30 per family. Maximum 8 participants per family. Includes 2 nights of camping, loaned camping gear, all instruction and materials.
Do you have expertise in camping skills and an interest in helping out? Volunteers assist in teaching sessions and serve as mentors to new campers. Join us and camp for free!
