Watching and listening to birds in parks and around your home has been shown to reduce anxiety and stress and increase feelings of wellbeing and connection to nature. As a beginner, learning the species names of birds you see can be challenging. In this two part series, learn the basics of bird identification and then practice in the park the following morning. Topics: bird features, basic bird identification, ethics and resources. Total walk Saturday morning will be 2 miles.
