Start the New Year out with an invigorating hike through the forest and streamside of Tryon Creek State Natural Area and be a part of celebrating State Parks across the US. There will be various guided hikes to choose from: family friendly shorter walks of 2 miles or less to longer walks of five miles. These guided nature walks will have a few nature stops while exploring the park. First Day Hikes offer a great way to get outside, exercise, enjoy nature and welcome the New Year with friends and family. All hikes depart from the Nature Center, expect to finish with your hike around noon.
