Join us for a free, guided sunset hike and talk with University of Oregon Geology Professor Daniele McKay. Learn about the geologic forces behind the formation of our iconic Cascade Mountains we see from the Pilot Butte summit today. Meet at the trail head kiosk at the east side parking area. Summit parking is very limited so people need to park at the base parking lot. Participants unable to hike to the top may drive and meet the group at the summit.
