Description

Discover through hands-on living history and demonstrations by costumed interpreters how items were made for survival on a 19th century homestead. • See working blacksmiths create tools and hardware using hammer and anvils. • Watch and learn as traditional woodworkers demonstrate the tools and skills needed to turn a piece of wood into necessary household items such as chairs, tables or spoons. Watch wheel rights, see mule and horse drawn equipment. Explore the Kitchen Garden, Listen to story tellers, play games and much more! COST: $5 per vehicle parking fee or free with an annual Oregon State Parks Pass
