We’ve closed all 18 yurts in the Nehalem Bay campground beginning October 18, 2020. The closure extends through the end of January, 2021. Some fairly in-depth renovations are planned, including electrical rewiring, new heaters and structural element replacement. If we can get done and open some or all yurts sooner, we will!
01/01/2020 to 12/31/2099
The meeting hall is closed to reservations, but remains open on a first-come, first-served basis. Please speak with staff after arrival about renting the meeting hall during your visit. The reservation closure is necessary as we consider transitioning this under-used facility to a visitor center/registration area. For more information, call the park at 503-368-5943.
09/11/2019 to 05/20/2020
We have removed the courtesy docks from our boat ramp for the winter. We anticipate having the courtesy docks back in place in mid-May, 2020. IMPORTANT: Winter rains bring flooding to the campground. Please understand that it may become necessary to completely close some sites or sections of the campground due to high water. Please also be prepared to accept another site if your preferred site is unusable.
The route to our address at 34600 Garey St. winds through a community. Kids, pets and wildlife are at play. Please be courteous, obey all traffic rules and take it slow.
