Campground Host

Wallowa Lake State Park

Needed From June 1, 2020
Needed To June 30, 2020

One campground host needed at Wallowa Lake State Park for the month of June to help with campground and firewood duties. The available host site is a 55 foot long full hookup site with 30amp service. Cell service is limited at the park, with internet access generally limited to USCellular and Sprint towers. Grocery stores, WiFi, laundromat, and other services are available in the towns of Joseph and Enterprise 6 and 12 miles away respectively.

Wallowa Lake State Park is located in the far northeastern corner of Oregon. The park is surrounded on three sides by the glacial-carved slopes of the Wallowa Mountains and to the north by beautiful Wallowa Lake. June sees the turn of spring in the area, with anything possible from nights near freezing and snow lingering in the mountains to sunny days and rain turning the nearby prairies brilliant with spring flowers. Visitors flock to the area from distant cities to experience the dramatic views, clear waters, and rural experience. Hosts often enjoy scenic driving tours on their weekends and leisurely fishing and scenic walks in their free time.

Given this plentiful setting, openings at Wallowa Lake fill quickly. If you are interested in volunteering at this location, please respond as soon as possible.
