Day-Use Host

Sarah Helmick State Recreation Site

Needed From September 1, 2020
Needed To October 31, 2020

Help us care for Oregon's first state park, established in 1922!  It is a cozy and scenic, well-shaded by an abundance of trees and located on the Luckiamute River, only a short trip from Monmouth, Independence, or Corvallis. If you value variety and independence in your work, then consider this opportunity at Sarah Helmick State Recreation Site!

This is a full hook-up site, with 30 and 50 amp. outlets, and State Park-owned laundry facilities and wifi is available free for hosts located at nearby Luckiamute State Park, which is 15 minutes away.

Duties include: Opening and closing park gates, mowing, weed eating, checking trash and restrooms, restocking paper supplies in restrooms, answering questions, advising of park rules, and blowing leaves.  Positon is appropriate for both single or host teams.
