Umpqua Relief Greeting / Yurt/Cabin Host

This position is a hybrid of our greeting host and yurt cabin host positions, both position descriptions are outlined below.

As a yurt/cabin host you are responsible for cleaning the interiors and exteriors of yurts, cabins, and deluxe yurts, performing litter sweeps around yurt/cabin sites, and cleaning out fire pits. You will also be expected to notify park rangers of any maintenance and/or items needing repair in the yurts.  You will be responsible for cleaning sites and performing landscape maintenance throughout the park. This position may include other duties that are not mentioned in this description.

As a greeting host, you serve as a crucial point of contact for campers and other park visitors.  You will be expected to greet visitors, distribute park literature, answer questions, receive comments and be readily accessible to the public. This position is also responsible for notifying park staff or law enforcement when emergencies arise or activities within the park warrant a response from staff.  You will be responsible for aiding customers checking into campsites and yurts/cabins as needed, as well as selling yurts/cabins to walk-in campers when you are on duty.  You will also be expected to sell firewood and bicycle helmets while on duty, and raise and lower the flag.  This position may include other duties that are not mentioned in this description.
