Campground Host

Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park

Needed From July 1, 2020
Needed To September 30, 2020

Our Campground hosts at Jessie M. Honeyman Memorial State Park are essential in making sure our campground is clean and safe for park visitors. Duties include, but are not limited to: picking up litter, cleaning out campsite firepits, raking campsites as needed, blowing or sweeping parking pads, communicating maintenance and safety issues to Park Rangers and checking restrooms to sweep, stock paper products and soap as needed. Hosts may have the opportunity for other grounds maintenance duties as assigned.

All volunteers must have a positive, welcoming and inclusive attitude as customer service is an essential part of the position.

Honeyman State Park is the second largest OPRD campground (by number of campsites) and is located on the central Oregon coast surrounded by dunes, coastal forests, the Siuslaw River and many beautiful fresh water lakes; all full of wonderful recreational opportunities. Honeyman is also within 15 minutes of 2 large chain grocery stores and many nice restaurants in Old Town Florence on Bay Street.

Please contact the host coordinator if you have any questions about the position; we look forward to hearing from you!
