TIME REQUIREMENTS: The minimum amount of time required will be 20+ hours per week.

More hours may be needed during peak season depending on mowing, litter control, and janitorial needs, but seldom averages above 30 hours per week.

JOB SITE: Bradley Wayside is located 33 miles East of Astoria on Highway 30. The RV site is currently located near the park entrance next to a shop building. Sewage is handled by a septic system. Water and electricity is available, both 50 and 30 amp. Telephone service and phone are in place.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: This position provides the park with caretaker responsibilities that include all grounds and janitorial service. Park staff will provide support as manpower permits or as scheduled improvement projects occur. The park provides one of the few rest stops along Highway 30. The park serves as a small scenic picnic area along the highway. Minimal vandalism and enforcement problems are known to occur. The park is frequented by law enforcement agencies.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: This position will keep the grounds free of debris and litter, mow and trim as needed to provide a neat appearance, empty garbage, and clean the restroom building two times a day. Some equipment operation is necessary, such as running a small rider mower and other power grounds equipment. Direct public service will include answering questions and providing information about directions, distances, and area attractions. A pump meter and car counter needs to be read and recorded daily. Informing the park staff on septic alarms, or other concerns and needs. All volunteer and staff are expected to adhere to safe working policies and procedures. Park staff will provide safety training. An Emergency Procedures Manual provides guidance for dealing with major and minor emergencies
