The Welcome Center Host(s) at Honeyman State Park will provide customer service to our diverse park visitors through the sale of items such as annual passes, souvenirs, firewood and bicycle rentals. Welcome Center hosts also provide information and answer questions about the park and local, regional, or state attractions. The position requires operation of a Point of Sale system, credit card reader and reconciling funds at the end of the shift. Customer service experience is a plus and welcoming, inclusive and positive attitudes are required!
Honeyman State Park is the second largest OPRD campground (by number of campsites) and is located just south of Florence on the central Oregon coast surrounded by beautiful dunes, coastal forests, the Siuslaw River and many fresh water lakes; all full of wonderful recreational opportunities. Honeyman is also within 15 minutes of 2 large chain grocery stores and many nice restaurants in Old Town Florence on Bay Street.
