If you enjoy a farm-like experience and living in a State Park Natural Area, this position may be for you.  Primary tasks consists of caring for 3 miles of hiking trails, misc maintenance tasks, light landscpaing (blowing) and special projects assigned by the staff.  The ability or experience in the operation of a light duty and tractor and some mechanical ability is a requirement.  Other duties include covering Day use hosts days off.  Your days off will be Saturday-Sunday.  Except for Day Use host coverage (Monday and Tuesdays), your required daily scheduel is from the morning to the early afternoon (6 hours). 

The host site is located near the shopyard at a quiet and low key district office surrounded by the Luckiamute State Natural Area and neighboring farms. We are located between the small towns of Albany and Independence.  Public interaction in this position is very low.
