This is a Day Use Host position tasked with taking care of 3 small day use parks at Luckiamute State Natural Area.  Job duties consist of opening and closing gates (3), light landscaping around parking and picinic areas, blowing paths and parking lots, and litter pickup.  Other tasks conists of greeting visitors and advising park rules.  You will be given a shared state vehicle for traveling to parks.  Operation of a 0-turn or deck mower, weed trimmer, and blower is a requirement for this position. 

The host site is situated at the South Property where our resident Western Pond Turtles are frequently viewed by visitors.  There is an electrical, water, and sewer hookup.  We do provide onsite laundry.  Albany, Corvallis, and Independence are a short drive away for groceries and entertainment.  Wifi is available and we do have good cell service.
