Maintenance Host

Memaloose State Park

Join us for a fun summer in the Columbia River Gorge!  We have an exciting hosting opportunity available June and July 2019 at Memaloose State Park in site A59.  We are looking for a Maintenance Host to live on-site at Memaloose State Park.  Daily responsibilities include the following activities:


-Set out irrigation sprinklers
-Water trees and shrubs with 5 gal bucket
-Mow, weed-whack and blow campsites as needed
-Minor landscaping projects such as planting or trimming trees and shrubs
-Assist other hosts and staff with cleaning of fire pits and campsites
-Assist park visitors with camping reservation check-in as needed
-Refill restroom toilet paper and paper towels

-Report any maintenance, security or enforcement concerns to park staff
-Provide general information about the area to the public
-Cover for other hosts on their days off if needed
 

Amenities* include:
-Full hookup site
-30 amp service
-Free day use pass to all Oregon State Parks in the Gorge while hosting
-Awe inspiring views of the Columbia Gorge right out your window!
-Laundry room for host use
*Park does not provide 4G, wi-fi or satellite service, but 4G and satellite reception is good if you have your own.
