NOW RECRUITING: INTERPRETIVE HOST

Stub Stewart is located in Buxton, Oregon. The park features hiking equestrian and mountain bicycling trails, a disc golf course, beautiful vistas and picnicking areas. Mountain Dale Cabin Village consists of 15 cabins and a meeting hall. The Hares Canyon Horse Camp has 15 sites with horse corrals. Dairy Creek Campground is divided into East and West and includes a meeting hall, interpretive area and children's climbing structure. Rustic hike-to tent camping is also available. Stub Stewart is part of the Portland District and draws people from all over the region. Stub Stewart is a busy park.  

NOTE: All potential hosts are interviewed and screened by park staff. Hosts are limited to a maximum stay of 2 months per park.

Host duties may change from month to month. The variables will be the weather, time of year, the number of full-time staff available and the specific interests and talents each individual camp host may possess.
