General Host duties
- Clean out fire pits and pick up any litter
- Welcome campers
- Answering questions
- Restocking brochures and pay envelopes
- Light ground maintenance work
- Cabin Cleaning
Info about the Park
- Wifi is available at host sites
- We have on site washer and dryer that you may use at any time
- Full site hook ups are provided
- No cell phone service in park. We have an office phone that you may use at any time. If you wanted to make a call with your cell phone you would have to drive 10mins out of the Canyon to get in service range.
- Nearest town would be Wasco 20mins or Condon 30min both towns have grocery stores and gas.
- Surrounded by towering cliffs, abundant wildlife Big Horn Sheep, Deer, birds, fish, etc. Fantastic trails to hike or bike right next to the John Day River. Peaceful and gorgeous dark nights (little light pollution).
