Day-Use Host

Illinois River Forks State Park

Needed From September 1, 2020
Needed To September 30, 2020

This little known rural day-use park is a little off the beaten track.  Situated just off Hwy 199 between the amazing Redwood Coast and the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon and located on the sparkling Illinois River, this park is where the east and west forks meet just outside of the small town of Cave Junction. During the summer months, it's a great place for visitors to cool off from the summer's heat or for  hikers and equestrians to access scenic trails through the adjacent woods.  There is also a disc golf course on the property.

Although this is a day-use area, we have a full hook-up host site for you.  We need help with opening and closing park gates, stocking and cleaning one restroom, picking up litter, doing light landscape maintenance and serving as a security presence to keep an eye on park facilities. During the winter season, this is a pretty low key and quiet place to relax, take a stroll and enjoy the quiet.
