Come join us at beautiful Willamette Mission State Park as our Shop Host! Willamette Mission State Park is a wonderful place to host. A network of hiking, equestrian, and cycling trails, covered picnic areas, and river access provide recreation options to suit a variety of tastes. The site is steeped in Oregon history and conveniently located just north of the Salem/Keizer metropolitan area. This park also provides some great opportunities for volunteers to gain experience and serve the public.
Some of the Shop Host duties include:
Conduct scheduled equipment servicing and as-needed repairs (coordinated with Rangers).
Mowing, trimming, blowing, and other landscaping duties performed around park shop, office, and park entrance.
Help maintain Vision Educational Trail.
Recycle paper/cardboard from office areas
Helping cover park gate opening/closing when staff is unavailable
Light facility cleaning, maintenance and repairs
The site is 50 AMP hookup and has an on-site laundry room in the main park office.
Let us show you how wonderful the Willamette Mission State Park is and you'll enjoy helping us to keep it that way.
Email Park Ranger Noah Sangster to find out more about this volunteer opportunity. Host assignments are typically 2-4 months. Months shown here reflect current availability.
