This Regiment of U.S. Army Cavalry has had a long and eventful history. First seeing action in the 19th century Indian Wars, then WW I, becoming Mechanized Cavalry during WW II, and going on to serve gallantly in both the recent Iraq and Afghanistan wars. The reenactors here will be representing those who served during WW II in the European Theater of Operations. Authentic uniforms, gear, and weapons will bring the past to life.
