In bygone days, loggers used various skills and techniques in the job of being a lumber-jack. Over the years, competitions developed between loggers to see who was most accurate at throwing an ax, the fastest at chopping a tree, and more. Today these techniques have evolved into a competitive sport.
Join us for our second Logging Sports Competition taking place in the Spring Creek Day Use area behind the Museum. For more information, contact us at 541-783-2471 ext 23.
