On September 19, OMSI, Rose City Astronomers will celebrate the beginning of autumn with a free Star Party! Join us as we gaze at the heavens at Stub Stewart State Park starting at 8:30 p.m. and is free with $5 parking per vehicle. From beginners to experts of all ages, visitors will have the opportunity to view the stars and other objects through a variety of telescopes. Viewing highlights includes Venus, Saturn, Moon and more! On the scheduled day of each OMSI Star Party, it is suggested that interested visitors check the OMSI Star Parties web site http://www.omsi.edu/starparties for possible weather-related cancellations.
