Oswald West First Day Hike

 Oswald West State Park South Neah-kah-nie Mountain trail head. Just north of Manzanita on Hwy 101 between mileposts 41 and 42 look for hiker signs on highway that point to a gravel road on east side of highway. Follow road approximately ΒΌ mile to trailhead parking area.

Hike with a ranger through beautiful Old Growth Forests until you emerge at the summit of Neah-kah-nie Mountain for breathtaking views to the south and Cape Lookout. Dirt/mud trail with 850-feet elevation gain, from 750 feet to 1600 feet. Light refreshments. Questions? Call (503) 368-5943.
