08/15/2017 to 09/30/2017
NO CAMP FIRES: Effective Wednesday, Aug. 16, all Oregon State Parks will restrict open flames and campfires, including fires on all Oregon beaches. Briquettes, tiki-style torches and candles (Citronella, too) are also prohibited until further notice. Only fuel sources that can be turned off instantly, such as propane stoves and propane fire pits, will be allowed.

Construction Advisory

08/15/2017 to 05/25/2018
Harris Beach campground will be under construction beginning Oct. 1, 2017 thru just before the Memorial Day holiday, 2018. This will be Phase II of our electric, water, sewer, paving, trail upgrade. During this time, "C" Loop will be reservable with the exception of Yurt C-2 and campsites C1, 3 and 4. "D" Loop will be open on a first come, first served basis. "A" and "B" Loop sites will be under construction and unavailable.

NO BEACH FIRES. Due to high fire conditions Coos Forest Protection Association is imposing a Regulated Use Closure. All beaches fronting state parks in Harris Beach MU will be closed to beach fires. Beachfront parks include Crissey Field, Winchuck, McVay, Harris Beach, Lone Ranch, Whaleshead, Pistol River, Myers Creek, and Kissing Rock. At this time, camp fires will still be allowed in the campsite fire pits at Harris Beach and Loeb State Parks.
