California sea lions infected with Leptospirosis are appearing on Oregon beaches , the Oregon Marine Mammal Stranding Network reports. The contagious bacterial infection, and many others, are transmittable to humans and dogs. Please stay away from stranded marine mammals. It is a violation of federal and state laws to harass, disturb, touch or feed marine mammals. Report violations to Oregon State Police at 800-452-7888. 'A' loop will be closed for reservations from 10/16/17 thru 6/14/18 due to potential flooding. 'A' loop restroom will also be closed during this time frame, 'B' & 'C' loop restrooms/showers will remain open. Numerous other sites will be closed starting 10/16/17 due to potential flooding. As long as conditions are safe, these sites will be available for first come first serve camping. Please call 541-994-7341 or 541-994-2002 with any questions about current conditions of these campsites.

Devil's Lake State Recreation Area Campground requires inputting a shower code to enter the campground showers. Get your shower code when you check in at the Registration Booth. If Registration Booth is closed at the time you arrive, please see a Host or Park Staff to get the shower code.
