2017 Eclipse Volunteering

Don't be left inside during the Total Solar Eclipse!

In anticipation of the 2017 Solar Eclipse, Oregon State Parks will have volunteer opportunities to assist in a variety of ways at state parks where viewing of the Eclipse will be optimal. These opportunities will be at state parks within and up to 30 miles outside of the path of totality which is primo eclipse viewing!

Parks like Beverly Beach, Silver Falls, Detroit Lake, The Cove Palisades, Smith Rock, Clyde Holliday, Farewell Bend and others are expecting thousands of visitors to join us in viewing this spectacular phenomenon.

A list of these parks can be found here.

Here is what you need to know:

How to get involved:

Please submit a Volunteer Interest Form  and we will be in touch.

If you want to be part of the action, join our rangers and volunteer team for 1-3 days or a week as we welcome the public and make this a safe event for all.
