Kam Wah Chung explores the Chinese American experience in the American West.  As a Visitor Center Host your job duties include staffing the Interpretive Center front desk that has a Point of Sale System for selling items in the Friends store gift shop, interacting and engaging the public, booking and assist with Ranger-led tours at the top of every hour in conjunction with staff, and cleaning and maintaining the Interpretation center including the grounds.  There may be opportunities to assist with other small projects and/or events if desired.

Your work schedule will generally consist of working 3 days on, 3 days off, from 8:45am-5pm (with an hour break from lunch).

Host campsites are at Clyde Holliday State Park (seven miles west of Kam Wah Chung).   The site is a full hookup with 50 amp service.  This position requires commuting from Clyde Holliday State Park to Kam Wah Chung in your own vehicle, there is no gas reimbursement.
