Description

This little known rural day-use park is situated just off Hwy 199 between the Redwood Coast and the Rogue Valley of Southern Oregon. Located on the sparkling Illinois River where the east and west forks meet just outside of Cave Junction, it's a great place for visitors to cool off from the summer's heat or for  hikers and equestrians to access scenic trails through the woods nearby.  There is also a disc golf course on the property.

A day-use host is needed to help open and close park gates, stock the restroom with paper products, pick up litter, and generally keep an eye on park facilities. During the winter season, this is a pretty low key and quiet place to relax, take a walk and enjoy the quiet.
