Interpretive Host wanted for September 2017 at Kam Wah Chung State Heritage Site. 

Loosely translated, Kam Wah Chung means "Gold Flower of Prosperity".  This historic building was indeed a prosperous place and is now a Museum and Interpretive Center located in Eastern Oregon in the town of John Day.  

Interpretive Host duties include:  Leading tours of the Museum, assisting park staff with artifact cataloging, greeting visitors and working in the Friends of Kam Wah Chung gift shop.

Host site:  The host site for this position is located just outside the campground at Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site, approximately 7 miles west of the Museum and Interpretive Center.  There is no stipend provided for mileage to and from the host site.  Amenities at the host site include picnic table, electricity, water, and sewer hook up.
