Mongold Day-Use area is part of the Detroit Lake State Park Management Unit.
Mongold has picnic sites, swim area and boat ramp.

Duties include cleaning picnic sites; picking up debris and trash along trails and swim area; assisting with traffic control on weekends.

30amp campsite located at Detroit Lake State Park is provided.
