Join OPRD and SOLVE in celebrating Earth Month with a litter cleanup along riverways in the West Columbia River Gorge. Using litter sticks, garbage bags, and gloves, we'll be removing man-made debris from the river's shore so that we can keep our waterways clear and clean. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, and long pants are recommended, as well as any clothing that will protect against inclement weather. This event is family and pet (on leash) friendly, but please keep potential hazards in mind, such as uneven ground, nearby traffic, accessibility of water, food, and restrooms, and proximity to large bodies of water. Cleanup materials will be provided and volunteer waivers will be given to all volunteers for signing before work begins.
