Detroit Lake is in need of campground hosts for the months of December 2016 through February of 2017.

Detroit keeps one camping loop (F Loop) open during the winter season. Mongold Day-Use area is 1.5 miles from the overnight campground and is open year-round. 

Host duties include selling firewood, cleaning campsites, keeping campground restroom stocked and cleaned, clear debris from loop trails and roadway, checking and stocking Mongold Day-Use Area restroom, checking and stocking Maples Rest Area restroom.

Host site includes power (30 amp), sewer and water.  Work week is Friday through Tuesday with Wednesday/Thursday off.
