The Manhattan Beach position is for one month-to three months, depending upon availability and experience. Day Use host duties at Manhattan Beach State Recreation Site include providing friendly customer service, maintaining facilities, grounds maintenance and providing an agency presence. Have a skill-set that is unique and could provide the park with added benefits? We always welcome volunteers that can help on special projects to improve park properties. Manhattan Beach is located on the north Oregon Coast next to the coastal community of Rockaway. The host site provided has a 30 amp hook-up, water and sewer. A typical weekly schedule includes 25-30 hours of volunteer service.
