Needed To October 31, 2020

Come join us at beautiful Willamette Mission State Park as our Day-Use Host! The park features a network of hiking, equestrian, and cycling trails, covered picnic areas, and river access provide recreation options to suit a variety of tastes. The site is steeped in Oregon history and conveniently located just north of the Salem/Keizer metropolitan area. This park also provides some great opportunities for volunteers to gain experience and serve the public.

Some of the Day-Use host duties include:

Provide information to visitors and a uniformed volunteer presence in the park.

Mow and weed host site and reservation areas.

Litter pickup and cleaning of reservation areas (bbqs, horseshoe pits, picnic shelter approaches).

Assist with loaning out horseshoes and volleyballs to reservation groups.

Assist staff with setup and presence at special events.

The host site is located near the Beaver Island Group Camp and Willamette Mission's disc golf course. The site is a 50 AMP hookup and on-site laundry is available at the main park office.

Host assignments typically last 2-4 months. Months listed reflect current availability.
