In bygone days, loggers used various skills and techniques in the job of being a lumber-jack. Over the years, competitions developed between loggers to see who was most accurate at throwing an ax, the fastest at chopping a tree, and more. Today these techniques have evolved into a competitive sport. Join us for our second Logging Sports Competition taking place, June 18th, in the Spring Creek Day Use area behind the Museum.  The event begins at 11am and goes until 5:00pm; timer-volunteers are asked to arrive by 9:00am to participate in setup, safety briefing, and pre-competition meeting.
