Maintenance Host

Cottonwood Canyon State Park

Needed From July 1, 2016
Needed To August 31, 2016

Are these cold, dark and short days of winter making you long for long for the dog days of summer? Well, Cottonwood Canyon State Park has the answer to your winter blues—campground and maintenance host positions open in July and August!

Our perfect host must love:

-          Staring at thermometer wondering if it truly can get hotter—we hit around 112-115 as a high during the last two years

-          Making a lasting impact at Oregon’s Newest and Second Largest State Park

-          Moonlit dusty walks—because it’s so hot you can’t walk during the day and it hasn’t rained in months

-          Bass fishing and catching over 50 a day

-          Hand pulling weeds

-          Beautiful canyon country with fantastic vistas’

-          A true chance to get away with no cell phone coverage

We will provide:

-          Our everlasting gratitude

-          Famous 4C’s catering at Safety Meetings—Cottonwood Canyon Catering Company

-          Maybe donuts—at least once

-          Laundry in the Shop!

-          Host site with full hook-ups—electrical (to power that AC); sewer; water (gotta stay hydrated)
