Maintenance Host position at Clyde Holliday State Recreation Site located in the John Day Valley.  This position is for an individual or couple. The park is located 7 miles west of John Day, Oregon on Hwy. 26 and 1 mile east of Hwy. 395 North. Possible projects include refurbishing picnic tables, tree and or shrub plantings, fence and trail repair. This Maintenance Host position would also fill in for Campground Hosts on their days off.  Typical schedule would be 4 hours per day, 5 days a week with two days off.  Openings are for 1 or 2 month stays only.

The Maintenance Host site is located between the office and shop buildings along the John Day River.  It is equipped with water, electricity, fire pit, shady grass area, picnic table.  There is no sewer hook up at this location.  A large blue boy tank is available for host use and can be towed behind the host golf cart to the Dump Station.
