Needed From May 1, 2017
Needed To May 31, 2017

Park host volunteers are a cornerstone of Oregon State Parks. Park rangers rely on these dedicated volunteers to perform a number of crucial duties in order to maintain the high level of service that makes these parks great. Stub Stewart State Park is recruiting for stellar Cabin Host to assist with the maintaining of the rustic cabins that are nestled in the foothills of this Oregon Coast Range park. Being an park host lends the volunteer to have all the experiences of camping in Oregon State Parks with the added benefits of giving back through service. All the while being only 35 minutes NW of Portland; you’re not far from a fun and vibrant city. Campsites provided have 20/30/50 amp hook-ups, water/sewer, and access to internet connection. A typical weekly schedule includes 30-40 hours of volunteer service. Talk to park staff about the specific weekly schedule required and how many months are available to join our team.
