Campground Host

Smith Rock State Park

Needed From February 1, 2017
Needed To February 28, 2017

Do you like talking to people from around the world and helping them enjoy their visit to our parks?

You might be just perfect for our campground host!

We're looking for host couples for February.

You will be stationed at Smith Rock State Park in a full hook up site at the Biviouac/campround.

You'll be doing light cleaning in the 2 bathroom/shower buildings, emptying trash, litter picking and operating the Welcome center on weekends.

The Welcome Center is full of interesting interpretave information on rock climbing, history, geology, plants and wildlife and much more. You'd be selling a few retail items like postcards, water bottles, dog leashes and of course One and Two year State Parks Annual Passes! You'd be giving directions and information on the park's trail system as well as local, regional and state attractions.

Does living right in a park known as one of the "Seven Wonders of Oregon" with scenic vistas of the famous Smith Rocks and Cascade Mountains sound good to you?  Not sure?  Check out: http://traveloregon.com/7wonders/  This one-of-a-kind park is located just minutes from the small town of Terrebonne, OR and about 7 miles to Redmond.  You'll have full acsess to all the trails and the Crooked River. Just a short drive to Bend where many other outdoor recreation oportunites await as well as amazing resturants, shopping, and craft breweries.

On site laundry available. Monday and Tuesday's off.
